5-Year Maintenance Plan

This Plan is offered only to customers who have purchased a new bicycle from us within the past 90 days. The Plan may not be offered on bicycles more than 90 days old and will never be offered on bicycles not purchased directly from us.

For $300, our 5-Year Maintenance Plan covers eligible bicycles for five full years from the original purchase date.

What’s Included

• Comp Tune-Ups ($175 value each)
• Wheel truing ($20–$40 value each)
• Bearing adjustments ($5–$15 value each)
• Labor to replace brake pads ($20–$40 value each)
• Labor to replace chain ($20 value each)
• Labor to replace brake and derailleur cables (not housing) ($20 value each)
• Labor to replace a tire or tube ($15 value each)
• Brake and derailleur adjustments ($20 value each)

Full Tune-Up Services Include:

• Gear adjustments
• Brake adjustments
• Wheel truing, tensioning, dishing, and inspection
• Bearing adjustments (headset, bottom bracket, hubs, pedals)
• Safety checks
• Drivetrain lubrication
• Pivot point lubrication
• Tightening and inspection of all bolts and fasteners
• Derailleur adjustments, tuning, inspection, and lubrication

What Is Not Covered

• Cleaning of the bicycle or drivetrain
• Any parts whatsoever
• Labor for replacement of parts not specifically itemized above
• Installation of accessories
• Repair of damage from accidents or crashes
• Repair of damage from abuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
• Wheel rebuilds
• Internal service to suspension forks or rear shocks (other than routine lubrication)

Terms and Conditions

• The Plan is available only within 90 days of purchasing a new bicycle from Mike’s Bikes.
• The Plan is valid only for the original purchaser and original bicycle.
• The Plan is non-transferable under any circumstances.
• The Plan may not be transferred to another bicycle.
• Removal or attempted removal of the Plan sticker by anyone other than Mike’s Bikes staff immediately voids the Plan.
• Loss, theft, or destruction of the original bicycle immediately voids the Plan.
• The Plan is valid for five years only and does not include a renewal option.
• Management reserves sole discretion in determining eligibility and coverage.
• Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel a Plan for any reason. If canceled, the only remedy is a refund of the unused portion of the purchase price to the original customer.
• Service must be scheduled like any other service appointment and does not guarantee turnaround times.

The 5-Year Maintenance Plan provides peace of mind that your bike will remain in excellent working order for years to come. While it does not eliminate all maintenance expenses, it significantly reduces labor costs over time.
